Welcome to the Housing Authority of the City of Eureka property, offering a total of 50 apartment units. Our community provides affordable housing options for individuals and families with moderate incomes. Through our program, eligible residents can enjoy below-market rents without relying on subsidies. Each resident is responsible for paying their full rent amount every month. Our rental amounts are determined by the pre-set income limits specific to the geographic area, rather than your individual household income. To determine your eligibility, your total household gross income must be below the pre-set income limit for the area. Please inquire with the property manager for detailed information about income limits, current rental rates, and any available rental assistance programs. Please note that most low-income apartments have waiting lists, which can sometimes take years before being contacted for openings. It is wise to apply to as many waiting lists as possible to increase your chances. We provide phone numbers and websites for direct contact with the apartments if they have current openings or open waiting lists. While we provide current apartment rates on many listing pages, most HUD listings do not have published rates. Instead, they are based on 30% of the renter's adjustable gross income.
