Housing Program for Disabled and Special Needs Individuals and Families Our housing program is designed to provide affordable housing for individuals and families with moderate incomes. With a total of 35 apartment units available, we offer a range of options including 20 one-bedroom apartments, 8 two-bedroom apartments, and 7 three-bedroom apartments. Since our inception in 2016, we have been committed to helping those in need find a home that fits their requirements. Income Eligibility and Rental Assistance Our program is not a subsidized housing program, meaning each resident is responsible for paying their full rent amount each month. Rental amounts are determined based on pre-set income limits in your geographic area, rather than individual household income. To be eligible for our housing program, your total household "gross" income must be below the pre-set income limit for your area. We also offer rental assistance for those who qualify, and our property manager can provide you with more information on income limits, current rental rates, and subsidy programs. Cedar Springs Apartments - New Construction Cedar Springs Apartments is a newly constructed complex consisting of four residential buildings. These two-story buildings house a total of 36 apartments, catering to a diverse population that includes Transition Age Youths (TAY), tenants with mental health diagnoses, and low-income families. The breakdown of units is as follows: 20 one-bedroom units, 8 two-bedroom units, and 8 three-bedroom units. We aim to provide a safe and inclusive community for all our residents. Important Information and How to Apply Please note that most low-income apartments have waiting lists, and it may take several years to be called for an opening. We recommend applying to as many waiting lists as possible to increase your chances. You can contact the apartments directly using the provided phone numbers and websites to inquire about openings or open waiting lists. Additionally, our apartment rates are based on 30% of the renter's adjusted gross income, and you will need to contact us to determine if you qualify for income-based rent. For any further inquiries or assistance, please reach out to our property manager. We are here to help you find the perfect home that fits your needs and budget.
