As a government-funded apartment complex, we receive direct funds from the government which enables us to provide lower rent for low-income residents. Our well-maintained apartments are fully furnished with modern appliances, plush carpeting, and central heat and air systems. Designed with the comfort of seniors in mind, our six-story apartment community offers a convenient and enjoyable living experience. Our beautiful campus boasts convenient amenities such as on-site laundry facilities, a beauty salon, a library, and a mini-mart. We also understand the importance of pets in our residents' lives, which is why our community is pet-friendly. Florida Christian Apartments is committed to fair and equal housing for all. To ensure the eligibility of our residents, the following qualification requirements must be met: 1. Age Requirement: The head of household must be at least sixty-two (62) years old. 2. Citizenship: At least one member of the applicant household must be a citizen or national of the United States, or an eligible non-citizen according to HUD's definition. 3. Residency: The apartment home at Florida Christian Apartments must serve as your only residence; HUD does not permit multiple residences while living here. 4. Income Limits: The household must meet the income limits established for the designated area. It's important to note that these limits may change periodically, so please contact us for the latest information provided by HUD. In addition to these requirements, other screening criteria will also be considered. These include credit history, character references, housing records, housekeeping history, and more. We are proud to accept HUD subsidies, opening opportunities for those who qualify for low-income housing. Rent for HUD subsidized apartments is based on 30% of your Adjusted Gross Income.
