Programs Offered by TCFAH Rental Program: Providing Affordable Housing Options in Seminole County TCFAH offers a Rental Program that aims to address the housing needs of the community. With a total of 70 affordable rental-housing units, we strive to assist individuals and families in finding suitable accommodations. Over the years, we have received an overwhelming response, receiving over 480 calls in 2004 alone, showing the dire need for rental-housing support. Even in cases where our agency housing units are not available, we ensure to guide these individuals towards alternative housing options. Our dedicated team provides them with valuable information, referrals, and advocates on behalf of the individuals seeking assistance. We also help them navigate social and financial assistance programs for obtaining the support they need. Transitional Housing: Empowering Homeless Families towards Stability Under our Transitional Housing program, TCFAH has established twenty (20) single-family, scattered-site units within Seminole County. This unique program is specifically tailored to assist homeless families in their journey towards permanent housing stability. We understand the challenges faced by these families, and our program aims to address their immediate needs. Participants in the program are not only offered rent and utility subsidies but also receive comprehensive support such as counseling, case management, advocacy, financial education, and self-sufficiency training. At TCFAH, we believe in empowering individuals and families for a brighter future, and our Transitional Housing program plays a vital role in making this a reality.
