About This Building

Services for Low Income Individuals, Families, and Older Adults The agency offers a wide range of services aimed at supporting individuals and families with low income as well as older adults in need. With a commitment to community development, the agency owns a number of housing developments and community facilities scattered across various communities throughout the county. Section 8 Housing: Affordable Homes for All In order to make decent housing accessible to families, elderly individuals, and disabled persons at affordable prices, the agency facilitates the Section 8 Housing program. Through this federal initiative, rent subsidies are provided to eligible households, enabling them to secure suitable housing. It is important to note that eligible households are required to search for housing independently. Rental Allowance Program: Addressing the Urgent Housing Needs To address the critical housing needs of homeless or low-income households, the agency administers the Rental Allowance Program. This program offers a monthly rental allowance for up to six months, providing temporary support to those in urgent need. By assisting with housing costs, this program seeks to alleviate the burden on individuals and families experiencing housing insecurity.
