Acknowledge their need for assistance in daily activities and an incapacity to live independently. 4. Exhibit motivation and a willingness to fully engage in communal living. 5. Possess the ability to evacuate themselves, with or without assistive devices, in case of emergencies. 6. Not receive services from the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). 7. Have no requirement for nursing services. 8. Meet HUD guidelines for very low income standards. HUD Subsidies - Making Low Income Housing a Reality At Community House, we understand the financial challenges faced by the Disabled community. Therefore, our apartments proudly accept HUD subsidies for those who qualify. If you meet the low income housing requirements and we have available units, your rent will be based on just 30% of your Adjusted Gross Income, making it affordable and manageable.
