OUR MISSION: PROVIDING SUBSIDIZED HOUSING FOR SENIORS AND THE DISABLED Affordable Housing for Seniors and Mobility-Impaired Individuals At the United Church Manor, we are proud to offer subsidized housing to seniors aged 62+ with low incomes, as well as mobility-impaired individuals age 18 and older. As a partner of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), we strive to provide comfortable and accessible accommodation for those in need. Qualifications and Income Limitations To be eligible for our housing program, the head of the household must be 62 years of age or older. However, if an individual is disabled, they may qualify for our program as long as they are at least 18 years old. Along with age requirements, income limitations apply to all applicants. Third-party verification of income, assets, and medical expenses is required to determine eligibility. Supporting Independence and Well-being At the United Church Manor, our dedicated Service Coordinator is present on-site to assist residents in achieving their personal goals, maintaining their independence, and ensuring they feel supported in their everyday lives. We understand the importance of creating a nurturing environment where our residents can thrive. Erie County Wellness Meal Program As a designated site for the Erie County Wellness Meal Program, the Manor proudly offers the Staying Fit Nutrition Program. Every weekday, from Monday to Friday, seniors from throughout the community aged 60+ can enjoy a nutritious and well-balanced meal. We kindly suggest a donation of $2.50 to support the program, ensuring that everyone has access to healthy food options.
