Referral Acceptance Policy and Application Process At our organization, we gladly accept referrals from a wide range of sources. To initiate the process, individuals are encouraged to meet with our friendly Outreach Workers and complete an application for our services. It is important to note that applicants must meet the criteria of being homeless with a documented history of mental illness. Residency Details Within our network, we offer a variety of comfortable single-occupancy rooms with round-the-clock staff coverage at the following locations: Haven Hall - Address: 27 West 12th Street - Rooms: 149 rooms available - Gender Policy: 13 dedicated to females, 26 designated for males - Rent: 30% of income Dana Hotel - Address: 15 West 12th Street - Rooms: 41 rooms available - Gender Policy: Coed - Rent: 30% of income Harkavy Hall - Address: 24 West 12th Street - Rooms: 29 rooms available - Gender Policy: 29 rooms targeted towards males - Rent: 30% of income Transitional Housing - Address: 29 West 12th Street - Rooms: 16 rooms available - Gender Policy: Coed - Rent: 30% of income Additional Support Availability In addition to the 24-hour staff coverage provided at the aforementioned locations, we also offer staff support at the following residences: Race Street Residence - Address: 1214 Race Street - Rooms: 12 rooms targeted towards females - Rent: $215-225 a month New Morning House - Address: 1209 Elm Street - Rooms: 11 rooms targeted towards males - Rent: $205-245 a month Room Amenities and Facilities Each room within our residences is equipped with a comfortable twin-sized bed, a dresser or wardrobe, and a small refrigerator. Furthermore, shared bathroom facilities are conveniently located on each floor, while shared kitchen and laundry facilities are also available to all residents. Meal Provision and Access to Food Resources While we do not provide three daily meals, our organization strives to ensure that at least one meal is offered by community volunteers on most days. Moreover, residents often have access to donated food items, and we provide information about local pantries and soup kitchens. Basic Assistance and Security Deposit Upon moving in, residents in need can receive basic assistance such as sheets, towels, clothing, and hygiene items. To ensure the security of our buildings, a refundable $50 security deposit is required for all residents.
