Overview of Clackamas County Housing Authority Programs 1. Low Rent Public Housing - HACC owns and maintains 545 units of public housing throughout the County. - Housing options range from single family homes to multi-family apartments. - Housing parks include Oregon City View Manor (100 units), Clackamas Heights (99 units), and Hillside Park in Milwaukie (100 units). - Hillside Manor is exclusively for the elderly and persons with disabilities. - Rent is set at not less than 30% of the tenant's annual adjusted income. 2. Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8) - HACC operates a waiting list for the Housing Choice Voucher Program. - Once your name reaches the top of the list, you will be invited for an interview and screened for eligibility. - Rent is set at not less than 30% of the tenant's annual adjusted income. - Unfortunately, the wait lists for Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher Program are currently closed. Other Housing Programs and Services 1. Affordable Housing Complex - HACC owns and operates Easton Ridge Apartments (264 units). - Rent is determined based on income eligibility. 2. Farm Labor Housing Complex - HACC owns and operates Arbor Terrace Apartments (24 units). - Rent is determined based on income eligibility. 3. Special Needs Units - HACC owns and maintains multiple Special Needs units that are operated by outside sources. - Placement is not managed by the Housing Authority. Resident Services and Support 1. Head Start Center and Career and Learning Center 2. Sports and Recreation Activities 3. Entrepreneurial Experience and Mentorship Programs 4. Crime Prevention Efforts 5. Summer Day Camp 6. Service Coordination for Families and Seniors 7. Federal Programs for Resident Self-Sufficiency Application Process and Qualifications - Household's total annual gross income must be under the program's income limits. - Income Limits can be viewed on HACC's website. - Waiting time for available units varies from 18 to 24 months. - Application priority is based on the date and time of receipt and unit size needs.
