Housing Assistance: - Designed to cater to the housing needs of very low-income families and individuals who meet eligibility requirements. 2. Public Housing: - Offers public housing options and section 8 vouchers. - To apply for public housing, simply visit our office at 1201 Thorpe Lane near the H-E-B to pick up a housing application. - Please note that the following documents must be submitted along with the housing application: a) Birth certificates for all family members b) Social Security cards for all family members c) Picture ID for family members over 18 years of age d) Proof of income (Wages, SS, SSI, TANF, Retirement, and Child Support) 3. Waiting List: - Due to high demand, all our programs operate through a waiting list system. - The waiting period typically ranges from 3 to 12 months. - Unfortunately, we are unable to provide emergency assistance. 4. Section 8: - Please be informed that the Waiting List for Section 8 is currently closed.
